Other Questions from Listeners

Speeding on Leanna Rd. - We are currently conducting a traffic study on the portion of the road in city limits. A Speed Survey will likely follow. Once the findings of this study are available, we will determine the best course of action.

Memorial Blvd in front of VA Hospital - We looked through our accident reports from January 2012-Oct 2014 and found 8 crashes in that area. None reported being caused by a left turn into VA hospital. However, it is worth watching to see if it would be justified to take the necessary steps (widen the road, re-stripe, etc) to address the concern.

Traffic at Haynes Dr. - Our traffic engineer is looking at the intersection to see whether a traffic study is warranted. He is also going to look at any options that might help line of sight issues that arise there due to the curve on Haynes Dr nearby and the cars that turn on and off of Sulphur Springs.
