A woman who allegedly shoplifted over $150 in merchandise from the Walmart store on Old Fort Parkway took off on foot prior to police arriving. Officers later found her running down Thompson Lane.

Murfreesboro Police spoke to the loss prevention officer who told them that prior to her fleeing the store on foot, she put up a fight. It was then found that Amy Lindsey had previously been told not to be on Walmart property.

After 46-year old Lindsey got her afternoon run in on Wednesday, running from the store, she was charged with theft, criminal trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia. Evidently, she had a crack pipe with her when she ran into the long arm of the law.

In case you are curious as to what was stolen... eight bottles of perfume.
