One thing is for sure, Murfreesboro is looking at a very positive economic comeback after a downturn that lasted for several years. However, we are also seeing an increase in theft as that recovery process is made.

More shingles have been stolen in Murfreesboro. This marks the fourth theft in recent months. This time, a General Contractor called the police to report that $12-Grand worth of shingles were taken from an address of 3726 Belle Haven Drive. Belle Haven is off of St. Andrews Drive near Highway 99.

Another home on Belle Haven Drive reported a shingle theft in February. That theft rang in at $16,000. So far, an arrest has not been made.
