Mother of Newborn Twins Arrested After Children Test Positive for Cocaine

The mother of newborn twins has been arrested after her twins tested positive for cocaine and opiates. Test results on the babies came back on September 5th. Murfreesboro Police then presented the case to the November Grand Jury. Indictments were handed down and Laura Agnor was arrested.

Police say that 29-year old Agnor allegedly used cocaine and opiates prior to giving birth.

She was charged with two counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of aggravated assault. The children are hospitalized and said to be in a medically fragile state.

Agnor will appear in court on November 19. She was jailed under a $20,000 bond.
