Motorcycle Accident Leaves Man in Critical Condition

Murfreesboro Police continue to investigate a serious one-vehicle crash. The wreck happened just before three o'clock Monday afternoon at the intersection of University Street and Reid Street. Major Clyde Adkison reports a Yamaha motorcycle was traveling South on University and the driver lost control at the intersection of Reid Street. The motorcycle left the roadway striking a utility pole and then a house at 502 University. The motorcycle was a dirt bike and was not street legal.

The driver was 23-year old Joetavious Marquis Randolph of Kerr Avenue in Murfreesboro. He was transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center Emergency Room by the Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services and is listed in serious condition. Adkison says the crash is currently under investigation by the Fatal Accident Crash Team (F.A.C.T.). Charges are pending upon completion of the investigation.
