MPD Officer Decommissioned and Placed on Leave

PrintAfter an internal investigation by the Murfreesboro Police Department, Officer Mike Fowler has been decommissioned and placed on indefinite leave. Reportedly Fowler altered official police records in an attempt to recover a .22-caliber pistol that was acquired as part of a January 3rd investigation into a disturbance at Gateway Barber College.
Since this is an active investigation, officials are unable to make comments.
