Stout defensive play forced four South Alabama turnovers as Middle Tennessee football secured a 20-12 win over the Jaguars Saturday at Ladd-Pebbles Stadium. Saturday's victory gave MT its fifth win on the road, the most by a Middle Tennessee squad since 1992.The Raiders have now reached seven wins three times under head coach Rick Stockstill. Jeremiah Bryson, a former Smyrna High School player, encountered his best collegiate game to date for the Big Blue with six grabs for 90 yards, including a 49 yard reception. Wide receiver Anthony Amos moved to ninth all-time after his 69 yards moved him to 1,308 in his career. As momentum continues to ride high, the Blue Raiders carry a three game win streak into its home finale at Floyd Stadium Saturday. MT hosts rival Troy in the Battle of the Palladium. Kickoff will be at 2:30. Blue Raider Network coverage on WGNS begins at 1:30.
