MT Football Running Back Arrested - Twice

Middle Tennessee football running back Jeremiah Bryson was arrested last weekend and then again on Monday.

Rutherford County Sheriff's spokeswoman Lisa Marchesoni tells NewsRadio WGNS the Smyrna native was charged with an attachment order for child support in Juvenile Court.

Bryson, who is 23-years old, was arrested on Sunday morning and taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. Marchesoni says his court date is December 10th in Juvenile Court.

Bryson was then arrested on Monday by Smyrna Police on a charge of simple assault.

The former Smyrna High School prep player rushed for 76-yards on Saturday in the Blue Raiders' loss at Western Kentucky. He also had a touchdown against the Hilltoppers.
