MTSU Football Players to Meet With Children from Special Kids

A neat opportunity for special needs children on Thursday... The MTSU football team will visit local nonprofit Special Kids’ summer day camp, Camp Ability, on Thursday (July 18, at 10:00 a.m.), located at North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro. Football players will practice athletic exercises such as throwing and catching with children with special needs ages 6-25. Camp Ability focuses on the children’s abilities rather than disabilities, allowing all campers to participate in all activities.

WHO:  MTSU’s football team will visit Camp Ability to teach campers, children with special needs, the basics of football.

WHERE: Camp Ability of Special Kids held at North Blvd. Church of Christ at 1112 North Rutherford Blvd in Murfreesboro.
