MTSU Sport Weekend Wrapup

The MTSU Lady Raiders fought back from a 10 point deficit and used six points down the stretch from Kortni Jones to downed Florida Atlantic, 70-67, on the road over the weekend. Middle Tennessee improves to 17-and-5 overall and 12-and-1 in the Sun Belt. They're back in action Wednesday night at 6 at home versus Arkansas State. Dick Palmer will have the game on WGNS beginning at 5:30.

Four Blue Raiders scored in double figures as the Middle men earned their ninth-straight victory with a 73-56 win over Florida Atlantic over the weekend. With the road win, they improve to 20-4 overall and 12-1 in the Sun Belt. The win also marked the 200th at MT for head coach Kermit Davis and the 110th for him in the Sun Belt. The Blue Raiders return home for four of the next five games, beginning Thursday night at 6 versus Arkansas State. Chip Walters will begin the pregame at 5:30 here on WGNS.
