Murfreesboro Police are currently investigating the weekend death of an MTSU student. The body of Jeffery Revels was found at Raider's Ridge Apartments, on Wenlon Drive off New Lascassas Highway. Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services says Revels was found in his apartment on Saturday. Murfreesboro Police spokesman Kyle Evans says there is nothing suspecious about the death. He adds the MPD investigates all unattended deaths. Revels, an MTSU engineering major, also worked at Amazon and most recently at a local Papa John's Pizza, according to his Facebook page. He was from Maryville, Tennessee.
