MTSU Testing Tornado Sirens

MTSU plans to test its tornado sirens on campus on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 12:20 p.m. This is only a brief test of the system, and no safety actions will be required. The university notifies the campus and surrounding neighborhoods before these monthly tests.

BULLETIN: New Hours at Social Security Office
The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday. Social Security employees will continue to work their regular shifts, but this change allows time for face-to-face consultations as well as processing more claims.
