A Murfreesboro Police drug case that unfolded on Hunt Street will head to court on April 28, 2015.

A knock on the door by officers was opened by 30-year old Joe Waters Jr. who gave police permission to enter, according to an arrest report filed in August of 2014.

Once inside a search uncovered five individual baggies of cocaine. Lortab, Xanex and Percocet pills were also located on a bed for which waters did not have a prescription for. A cut straw with cocaine residue was also found on top of a TV stand along with a bag of marijuana next to a bed. Multiple empty baggies with cocaine residue inside of them were also found. The drugs and several hundred dollars in cash were seized by Vice officers.

The officer who filed the report wrote, "Mr. Waters admitted that he sold a little bit to support his habit." As a result of that so called habit, he was arrested and charged with the manufacturing or sale of a schedule II drug. He was also charged with simple possession of a schedule 2, 3, and 4 drug. To make matters worse for Waters, when he was arrested he was currently out on bond for three previous felony drug charges that he has not yet been to court for.

He will face all of the charges at once when he files his plea later this month.
