Multiple Home Burglaries Still a Problem in Murfreesboro

More and more homes continue to be broken into in Murfreesboro. Televisions, tools, computers and jewelry are the hot items for burglars to thieve. Multiple homes from Indian Park Drive to Kings Highway were hit over the past 3-days.

At this point, no arrests have been made. Police continue to look into the growing problem of burglary.

The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday. Social Security employees will continue to work their regular shifts, but this change allows time for face-to-face consultations as well as processing more claims.
