The much talked about extension to the Murfreesboro Municipal Airport was voted down at the August 30th meeting of the Murfreesboro City Council. In the end, it was up to councilman Shane McFarland, absent from last week's meeting, to cast the deciding vote. The council also would like to wish councilwoman Scales-Harris a happy birthday. Finally, changes coming in the near future for the Rover, including some still in-the-works route consolidations and time changes to streamline the system.
