The City of Murfreesboro has grabbed technology by the horns and are reeling it in for school students. Karen Hawkins, the Murfreesboro City Schools Curriculum Coordinator, told WGNS a major technology push is being made right now.

The new devices will remain at school and students will not be allowed to take the iPads and laptops home.

One a side note, the life expectancy for the new devices is 4-years.
