A focus on Murfreesboro City Schools with Public Information Officer Lisa Trail and new Reeves Rogers Principal Laurie Offett. She told how the school had been renovated, painted and has a new mascot. Reeves Rogers is now the home of the Mustangs.  Since MTSU is across the street with another horse: "Lightning", Reeves Rogers named their mustang "Thunder".  So "Thunder" and "Lighting" will be divided only by 3 lanes of roadway with Greenland Drive. 

OPEN HOUSE for the new Reeves Rogers School is Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2-4PM.  Alumni, neighbors, and those zoned to the school are encouraged to tour the facility and share memories. 

OPEN HOUSE for Overall Creek is the following Sunday, August 3, 2013, also from 2-4PM, and everyone in the area is encouraged to tour this new school. 

By the way, the first day of school for Murfreesboro will be Wednesday, August 6th.
