The entire story:
During the weekend of July 11th -13th, the Murfreesboro Lady Eagles ( 7-9 coach pitch girls softball team) went 5-0 and won the TYBA State Tournament at Barfield Park in Murfreesboro. They beat the DeKalb County Diamonds 20-11 in the championship game. The Lady Eagles went 13 and 0 and won the Murfreesboro Baseball Association Championship this past spring as well.
The MBA at Barfield Park provides softball for girls ages 6 to 12 during both spring and fall leagues. Signups are currently underway for fall of 2014.
