Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department's District 7 responded to a construction accident just before 2 pm Thursday, which left a worker injured 25-feet down in a concrete tank structure at the Water Treatment Plant, 2032 Blanton Drive.

Rescue technicians climbed into the reservoir and after immobilizing the injured patient, placed him in a stokes basket. A crane onsite was used to raise the patient from the structure where he was taken to Vanderbilt Emergency by Lifeflight helicopter for treatment.
