Misuse of 9-1-1 was the charge that landed 38 year old Jonathan Jordan behind bars early Friday morning (10/7/16). Apparently, he has called 9-1-1 operators a total of 26 times since July of this year, according to a police arrest report.

The most recent call was for "Prostitution" and "Drug Activity" at the intersection of South University Street and Sun Circle. When police arrived at the intersection, they were unable to locate any subjects that matched the description given by the caller, who was later identified as Jordan.

When police went back to examine the previous 25 calls made to 9-1-1, it was confirmed that none of the situations were emergencies. Therefore, the Judicial Commissioner issued the warrant for Jordan's arrest on Friday.

Jordan was charged with "Misuse of 9-1-1" and booked under a $1,750 bond.
