Murfreesboro man comes home to subject inside his house, hiding

Talk about a scary find. A Murfreesboro man came home to find an unknown subject inside his house. The victim, who is an older gentleman, told police the suspect was actually hiding in his residence.

When police arrived, they observed 27-year old Ernest Lee Feinstein running from a home on Winfrey Drive. Winfrey Drive is near Clark Blvd. and Memorial Blvd. in Murfreesboro. Police say they gave verbal commands to Feinstein to stop, but he continued running. A foot pursuit eventually landed Feinstein in handcuffs. Officers say they had to "Soft empty hand techniques to place him in custody."

A cell phone that was left behind in the home that Feinstein was accused of being in, further proved to police he was indeed inside the house.

Feinstein, who lives in Shelbyville, was charged with "Criminal Trespassing, Evading Arrest and Resisting Arrest." He was booked into the local jail under a $10,500 bond. As of Wednesday morning, he remains behind bars. His court date is September 29, 2015.
