Two stab wounds on the forearm of a Murfreesboro man were obtained when another subject allegedly tried to stab him in the chest, according to victim Cornelius Martin. The man claims that the incident occurred when he went to the Eagle Street address of his "baby's mother."

When Martin arrived at the apartment, he claims the current boyfriend of the woman approached him with a metal hair pick. During a physical altercation, the accused man by the name of Greg Lockett-Tisdale, attempted to stab him in the chest with the pick. Martin says he blocked the attack with his forearm and that was when he was stabbed twice.
