Murfreesboro Aviation Flight School and Aircraft Maintenance announced that it’s been chosen as the official Authorized Cessna Service Center of Middle Tennessee and Nashville.
Cessna carefully evaluates aircraft maintenance facilities to ensure that requirements for facilities, training, tooling and publications are to the highest standards. Murfreesboro Aviation owner Jim Gardner said they endured a long evaluation from Cessna before receiving their official authorization.
“The inspections were tough and the expectations were high,” Gardner said. “They don’t let just any ‘fly-by-night’ maintenance facility hang a Cessna sign on their Hangar. The mechanics have to go through rigorous training through Cessna.”
“We have a deep relationship with Cessna,” Gardner continued. “I, myself, fly a Cessna-182, and our flight school has flown Cessnas to conduct training for many years..” We preform maintance on all aircraft but spealize in the Cessna brand. Many pilots who own Cessna aircrafts want to use a Cessna Authorized Service Center, but don’t like the prices usually associated with a service center. Murfreesboro Aviation is not the average Cessna Service Center, though; we keep the price low for our customers.”
Murfreesboro Aviation is also a Flight School, offering private pilot through multi engine instructor ratings. It is the second largest flight school in the state and surrounding states. Murfreesboro Aviation is a F.A.A. written testing facility, David Clark Dealer, Hertz Rental car dealer, Cam Guard dealer and an FAA charts dealer—the only one in the region.
