Murfreesboro Police continue their investigation into a report of road rage and shots being fired. Trevor Evey reportedly was traveling along Medical Center Parkway near the hospital around 4:00 o'clock Saturday (5/30/2015) afternoon when a white 4-door Buick sedan changed lanes and almost hit him. The 20-year old local resident swerved around the car and attempted to stay out of the way.

Evey told police that the white Buick pulled in behind him, made some gestures and followed closely. He couldn't believe what he saw in his rear-view mirror. The driver of the Buick allegedly held his arm out the window with a black handgun which he fired several rounds into the air.

Evey realized the need to get away, so as he approached the intersection of Broad at Medical Center Parkway--he decided to run the red traffic signal.

Murfreesboro Police are taking this report seriously and are asking if anyone say this Saturday afternoon road rage incident to phone them at 615-893-1311. Again, this occurred around 4:00 o'clock this past Saturday afternoon.
