A rape was reported on Wednesday in Murfreesboro. The sexual in nature assault was said to have occurred at a home in the area of Cason Lane. The 37 year old victim was taken to Middle Tennessee Medical Center after she was allegedly attacked.

WGNS will not release any additional information on this case until an arrest has been made. We will continue to protect the identity of the victim after an arrest is made. Detectives are investigating the allegations.
