UPDATE: Still no arrest in the 1996 murder of Gordon Kent in Murfreesboro

In 2014 Murfreesboro Police reopened a cold case that dates back some 20-years. As of February 25, 2016, no one has been arrested for the murder of 65-Year old Gordon Kent who was brutally beat to death in his North Maple Street apartment in 1996. Ironically, Kent was killed the same day that his mother was buried.
