An 18-year old January Street teen admitted to police that he broke into a neighboring apartment and stole an antique gun and knife collection, left the address and then came back for more loot. The incident occurred on Tuesday.
The suspect voluntarily agreed to go to the police department for questioning and through the course of an interview, admitted to climbing into the window of an apartment and stealing a gun and several knives. The teen says he left the apartment and returned a second time with a friend and took a camera, jewelry and a camcorder.
After allegedly breaking into the same house twice, the teenager was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary and one count of theft over $1,000. He will appear in court on April 9.
