For a fifth time, a Murfreesboro woman has been arrested for "Driving on a Suspended License." 42-Year old Mellanie Parsley Richardson was pulled over on Memorial Boulevard after police spotted her driving while unrestrained.

When police walked up to the driver side window of the pick-up truck, the woman identified herself as Melanie Joyce, according to a police report. Her real name was later confirmed to be Melanie Richardson. As a result of the reported lie, she was also charged with "Criminal Impersonation."

Police asked to search Richardson's purse, and she agreed. A prescription pill was then located, but she lacked an actual prescription for the pill in question. Officers then found out that she was not only driving on a suspended license, but she was wanted on four warrants in Rutherford County and one warrant in Cannon County.

The warrants were for a previous driving on a suspended license charge, violating her probation, hindering a secured creditor, failing to appear in court and possession of drug paraphernalia. Richardson will appear in court on May 4, 2015.

As of 2:00, Wednesday afternoon... Richardson is still behind bars at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
