MYP Electing First "Emerging Leader"

Murfreesboro Young Professionals (MYP) will host the Inaugural Emerging Leader Award in conjunction with the group's annual Leadership Summit event on August 5, 2016 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center.

Who qualifies? Any young professional ages 22-40 working in Rutherford County who exemplifies leadership and dedication to making our community a better place. This award is open to ANY young professional in our community. They do not have to be a MYP member.

What does the $100 nomination fee include? Each nominee will be able to attend our 2016 Leadership Summit on August 5th at Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro at no cost to the nominee. This year's Leadership Summit will feature New York Times best-selling author, Donald Miller. Each nominee will also be recognized at the lunch.

How will the award be given out? The award will be given out during the lunch portion of the 2016 Leadership Summit. Each nominee and their company will be recognized at the lunch and Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland will present the award to the winner. Judges include seasoned professionals from our community who are participating as mentors in the MYP Mentor Program.
