A man died after drowning in Percy Priest Lake on Sunday. The victim has been identified as 28-year old David Malone. The incident occurred in the area of Four Corners Marina in LaVergne.

Malone, who was not a strong swimmer, was climbing into a pontoon boat when he fell back into the water and went under. His friends say he never resurfaced after falling in. He was not wearing a life jacket.

Alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
