A 39-year old Nashville man faces multiple charges after speeding away when Murfreesboro Police tried to make a traffic stop. Kyfarie Jamale Wagner of Archwood Drive in Nashville was observed by Murfreesboro Police Officer Earl Crow on Bridge Avenue around 1 a.m. Friday. The officer knew the suspect's license was revoked. After confirming his suspicion, the officer tried to pull Wagner over.
After failing to stop and committing two stop sign violations, Wagner allegedly sped off and threw something from the driver's side window. Officer Crow reports it was narcotics in a baggie.
A "be on the lookout" was issued for Wagner, who was found a short time later by Officer Kyle Frazier at a home on Fairview Street. During a search of the vehicle, several hundred dollars in cash and prescription bottles were discovered.
The officers then got consent to search the home, where they found Wagner hiding upstairs. In searching the room, several legend drugs, crack pipes and digital scales were discovered. Both Wagner and Erin Long were arrested. Since Long's juvenile daughter was inside the home, D-C-S was also contacted.
Both face multiple drug charges. Wagner was also wanted on a warrant out of Davidson County, was charged with his fourth driving on a revoked license, felony evading and tampering with evidence.
