(Monday, 3/30/15): Representatives from the National Rifle Association's Institute for Legislative Action's (NRA-ILA) Grassroots Division will conduct a free "NRA University" (NRA U) training seminar for area college students on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University on March 30, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
"The goal of NRA U is to educate young adults on the history of the Second Amendment and the facts surrounding the present-day gun control debate, as well as equip them with the tools they need to become effective Second Amendment advocates," said Glen Caroline, Director of NRA-ILA's Grassroots Division. "Our constitutional freedoms are under attack like never before and it is imperative that we educate and train the next generation of leaders in the fight to preserve our constitutional right to Keep and Bear Arms."
NRA U is a free, two-hour training seminar for students interested in joining the fight to protect our constitutional freedoms. The seminars are conducted by NRA-ILA staff at college campuses across the country and focus on dispelling the myths of gun control, the history of the Second Amendment, grassroots activism and the safe and responsible use of firearms for self-protection.
