Rutherford County Schools will host its annual Teacher Recruitment Fair this Saturday, April 26, at Smyrna High School from 9 a.m. until noon.

The event marks the seventh year the school district has hosted its own recruitment fair. Job candidates will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with principals and other administrators representing the district’s 46 schools as well as the adult education department, the special education department, ESL, and Career and Technical Education.

We were told by schools spokesperson, James Evans, "Candidates should come prepared for potential interviews and be ready to distribute resumes, copies of Praxis scores, proof of highly qualified and teaching license, if applicable."

The Office of Tennessee Teacher Licensing website is available at http://state.tn.us/education/lic.

Preregistration and/or tickets are not needed to attend.  Smyrna High School is located at 100 Bulldog Drive in Smyrna, Tenn. For additional information about employment with Rutherford County Schools: http://www.rcschools.net/humanresources.
