The ribbon cutting for the brand-new addition to Black Fox Elementary School is this Thursday (Aug. 3, 2017) at 4 p.m. The ribbon cutting will be in the same location as where the school broke ground on the project (kindergarten wing nearest Publix).

The new addition cost a little over $2-million and allows for the schools capacity to reach the 1,000 student mark. The expansion added an additional 15,039 square feet bringing the total square footage to 122,539.

The Murfreesboro City Schools told WGNS that an open house will take place at 5:30, Thursday evening at Black Fox.

This year the school will welcome the Class of 2030.
