Another company may move operations to Rutherford County. The unnamed company that is currently in discussions with county officials, has been offered a tax break of over $1.5-million. The company says if they locate in the Murfreesboro area, they will create over 550-jobs. The Rutherford County Industrial Development Board approved the tax break under the code name “Project Velocity.”
