Beesley Animal Foundation recently named Kathryn McPherson as the new medical director for their spay/neuter clinic, Beesley Animal Clinic. McPherson has been an established veterinarian in the Rutherford County area for years and owns McPherson Veterinary Services located at 1806 Memorial Blvd. in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Dr. McPherson, a graduate of Cornell University, also received her veterinary medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

"We are glad to add the experience and knowledge of Dr. McPherson to our team at Beesley Animal Clinic. She is a great addition and will aid in the mission of the clinic to provide affordable pet care to Rutherford County," Beesley Animal Foundation Executive Director Amanda Oliver said.

While McPherson is taking a new step with Beesley Animal Clinic and lending her time and expertise as medical director, McPherson Veterinary Services will continue to operate just as before.

"I have always loved the non-profit side of veterinary medicine and I am excited that I will be able to participate in it. Being in a position to make a difference for more animals and their families is a wonderful opportunity," McPherson noted.
