Rutherford County Assessor of Property Rob Mitchell told WGNS a new interactive map allows you to see average teacher pay, the number of students in our local schools and more.
The Comptroller's office put the map together. Mitchell said, "Information provided is average teacher pay, number of students, average per pupil expenditure and the demographic makeup of the student population."
Mitchell further commented, "With budget planning just around the corner it is important to understand the challenges we face as a community and understand how these needs are met."
