If the project is complete in two years that means Walmart and the extended Joe B. Jackson Parkway will open in 2015. That’s not the only thing new to South Church Street… A Price Less IGA Grocery Store will soon open in the old Food Lion location and we are told the Kroger Store across from Indian Hills Golf Course will likely expand to include merchandise similar to what Walmart offers. A Goodwill store is also in the forecast for the south side.

The Joe B. Jackson extension will cost a little over $10-million.
