Northfield Elementary Helps Local Foster Children

The Northfield Elementary School's Student Council conducted a successful Toy Drive for the Rutherford County Foster Children. This school wide event brought in more than 300 toys, books, school supplies, and other wonderful surprises for the children.

The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday. Social Security employees will continue to work their regular shifts, but this change allows time for face-to-face consultations as well as processing more claims.
