State Senator Ketron Proposes Voter ID Legislation

State Senator Ketron Proposes Voter ID Legislation

State Senator Bill Ketron has proposed legislation that would limit acceptable voter identification to only state or federally issued photos. The Murfreesboro Republican hopes this will clarify the confusion experienced during last November's election when voters attempted to use Memphis library cards and other non-traditional forms of photo ID's.

Senator Ketron along with Representatives Dawn White, Mike Sparks, Joe Carr, and Rick Womick will be on Friday (1/25/2013) morning's WGNS Action Line from 8:10 to 9:00 o'clock. The Rutherford County delegation will give an update on what is happening in the 108th General Assembly, as well as take phone calls from constituents in the second half of the broadcast.
