Looking back to the “domestic violence” police report, it shows that the attack took place with the victims’ three young children inside the apartment. The children were not physically injured in the attack. As far as a reason for the attack in February, Barkley says that he caught his ex-wife with another man and “just lost control.”

After the alleged attack, Barkley reportedly walked up to a police officer who was on the scene investigating the incident and stated, “I did it, take me to 940.” 940 is the address of the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department. When the officer asked, "What did you do?" The culprit stated a second time, "Just take me to 940."

Barkley will face charges of attempted second degree murder, especially aggravated burglary, two counts of aggravated assault and vandalism on June 17th before Rutherford County Judge Keith Siskin. In the meantime, Barkley remains behind bars.

Additional Unrelated Charges Filed Against Barkley:

According to court documents, Barkley will also face unrelated charges for the sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a preschool, felony possession of a scheduled 6 drug within 1,000 feet of a daycare and theft totaling more than $10,000.
