Larry and Lynn Sergeant are the WGNS Good Neighbor's of the day. Someone wrote in and told us the two help people on a daily basis at Franklin Road Baptist Church. Most recenlty, they helped the family member of the person who nominated them get back on her feet after a difficult time. Today they will receive flowers, compliments of Rions Flower and Gifts in Murfreesboro.

The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday. Social Security employees will continue to work their regular shifts, but this change allows time for face-to-face consultations as well as processing more claims.
