Special class for small business owners and entrepreneurship in Murfreesboro

Have you ever wanted to ask an attorney questions about starting or running a business, but didn’t want to pay the price? March 7th will be your chance.

“An Hour with an Attorney” is sponsored by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Middle Tennessee State University (TSBDC-MTSU).  Chris Sloan, Co-Chair – Emerging Companies Team, with the Law Firm, Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, will lead the Workshop.  Mr. Sloan will provide an overview of frequently asked business development related questions including:  legal structure, non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements, intellectual property basics, employment law basics, information privacy, contracts, shareholder/operating agreements, securities law basics, equity incentives, how to effectively work with an Attorney, and more.  This is your opportunity to get a primer on this very important aspect of starting, expanding, or improving the operating performance of your business.
