The mother was allegedly driving the wrong way, as in the wrong lane all together.

A citizen called Murfreesboro Police early Sunday morning around 5 to report that they witnessed a driver heading down NW Broad Street in the oncoming lane of traffic. Police quickly headed to the area where they made contact with Terica Rochelle Cantrell at the Northfield Boulevard / Broad Street intersection. The arresting officer wrote in a report, “Ms. Cantrell had her 11 year old son and 7 year old daughter in the vehicle at the time of the incident.”

Needless to say, Cantrell received a free ride to the slammer and will appear in court on June 20, 2013. She was charged with her second DUI. After being booked into the local jail, she was released seven hours later after paying a $3,000 bond.

You may be wondering, does she face any charges for having children in the car at the time of her alleged drunk driving incident? We can sum up your curiosity in one small two letter word… NO. According to both the Sheriff’s Office and the Murfreesboro Police Department Arrest Report she was ONLY charged with DUI number two.
