Bradyville Pike Road Survey Work (between Broad Street and Rutherford Blvd)

Expected No Lane Closures:  Monday – Friday:  Incidental surveying work continues on the side streets along Bradyville Pike between Broad Street and Rutherford Blvd.  There will be no lane closures.  Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

Murfreesboro Water & Sewer Projects  

1. Jupiter Place between S Baird Lane and Minerva Dr – 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
2. N Maple St between Polk St and Chestnut St – 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Expected Lane Closures:  Monday through Friday:  The contractor for the Water and Sewer Department will be replacing sanitary sewer pipe on Jupiter Place between S Baird Lane and Minerva Dr and on N Maple St between Polk St and Chestnut St.  Jupiter Place will be closed to through traffic.  N Maple St will be reduced to one lane with flagman directing traffic around the work area.  Driveway access to local residents will be kept open at all times.  Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

N Thompson Lane at Sulphur Springs Road Intersection Improvement Project

Expected Lane Closures:  Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm:  Contractor for City of Murfreesboro will be making intersection improvements at N Thompson Lane and Sulphur Springs Road.  The work entails turn lane improvements and signalization work at this location.  There will be traffic interruptions and lane closures on Thompson Lane  

S Rutherford Blvd at Chandler Pl Intersection Improvement Project

Expected Lane Closures:  Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm:  Contractor for a private development across from Chandler Pl will be making intersection improvements on S Rutherford Blvd at Chandler Pl.  The work entails turn lane improvement work at this location.  There will be traffic interruptions and lane closures on S Rutherford Blvd.  Proper traffic controls will be in place.

Joe B Jackson Pkwy Construction Project (I-24 and S Church Street)

Expected Lane Closures:  Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm:  Construction work continues on Joe B Jackson Pkwy between I-24 and S Church Street.  The work entails the installation of signage, erosion control measures, clearing, grubbing, construction staking and bridge work.  There will minor traffic interruptions.  There will be no lane closures.  The appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

N Thompson Lane Re-paving Project (between NW Broad Street and Memorial Blvd)

Expected Lane Closures:  Monday through Sunday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm:  Contractor for Tennessee Department of Transportation will be milling the two-lane section of N Thompson Lane between Royal Drive and Seigel Road.  Guardrail and traffic signal loop installation work will be done at night between 8 pm and 5 am.  There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions.  Proper traffic controls will be in place.

On Saturday and Sunday, May 11 & 12, weather permitting, the contractor for TDOT will be paving the two-lane section of N Thompson Lane.  There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions.  Proper traffic control signs will be in place.

Billy Blvd Wal-Mart Sign Replacement Project

Expected Lane Closures:  Wednesday, 3:00 am to 6:00 am:  Contractor for Wal-Mart will be replacing an entrance sign in the median on Billy Blvd and N Rutherford Blvd.  The entering lanes on Billy Blvd will be reduced to one lane.  The double left turning lanes on Rutherford Blvd will also be reduced to one lane.  There will minor traffic interruptions.  The appropriate traffic controls will be in place.  All work will be done during early morning hours.

Medical Center Pkwy (between Thompson Lane and I-24)

Expected Lane Closures:  Tuesday & Wednesday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm:  Contractor for City Urban Environmental Department will be mulching on Medical Center Pkwy between Thompson Lane and I-24.  There will be moving lane closures and traffic interruptions on Medical Center Pkwy.  Proper traffic controls will be in place.
