A third motorcycle theft has been reported in Murfreesboro within the past three months.  The 2006 Suzuki Katana that was being advertised on CraigsList was parked on Madison Street when it was taken. Evidently, the crotch rocket was parked in front of the home. What makes this theft even worse for the owner, he did not have any insurance on the motorcycle. The bike was valued at $3,500.

The last motorcycle theft WGNS told you about was involved a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja. The Ninja was taken from an apartment parking lot at Westbury Farms on the New Salem Highway. It was valued at $8,000. The bike before that was a 2008 Yamaha R6. It was stolen from Waterford Place Apartments on South Church Street. It too was valued at $8,000.

Last year, WGNS reported about 8-motorcycle thefts over a 6-month period. All the details are available at WGNSradio.com (SEE BELOW).
