WGNS is following up on a story you first heard about on the 6th of July in Murfreesboro involving a nude homeless man on Westgate Boulevard. You may recall a subject by the name of Christopher Snook was seen by witnesses walking down the road completely naked at 11:00 at night. When officers questioned the 19-year old his speech was hard to understand, he was in a sweat and he was acting erratic.
When police talked to Snook he was standing next to a patrol car as it was raining outside and reports indicate the windshield wipers on the car scared the subject. When officers asked about the whereabouts of the his clothing he turned aggressive punching one officer in the face, according to the report.
Police eventually took the man to the Emergency Room at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital where he was evaluated and later released. A day later he was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center where he remains today, unable to post bond.
The subject will soon appear in court where he will face public intoxication charges, disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and assault charges. He is being held behind bars under a $5,500 bond.
