METH is Still an Issue - Arrest and Alleged Lab Found in Woodbury Recently

Meth is still a problem in Middle Tennessee, even though you have heard little about the issue in recent months.

Woodbury police officer John House arrested 33 year old David D. Johnson and 45 year old Teri Glenn Slate for the initiation of methamphetamine manufacture process and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a police report, Woodbury Police found a one pot lab in the bathroom of Johnson's bedroom with stripped lithium batteries, empty cold compress packs, HCL generator, tubing and empty pseudoephedrine packs.  Drug paraphernalia included syringes, tubing, pliers, electrical tape, plastic bottles and glass jars.  Both are due to appear to answer the two charges in General Sessions Court on Tuesday August 27th.
