Court Says NO To Murfreesboro Appeal Filed By Sexual Predator

Court Says NO To Murfreesboro Appeal Filed By Sexual Predator | Freeman Harrison

A man by the name of Freeman Ray Harrison, Jr. who was convicted in a Rutherford County Courtroom of two counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of reckless endangerment has appealed his case. The subject was sentenced to spend 20-years behind bars.

Harrison filed the appeal because he claims the courts should not have allowed for a family members testimony and that Rutherford County was not the appropriate venue for the case to be heard. The Court of Criminal Appeals disagreed and affirmed the trial courts conviction and sentence.

The case against Harrison dates back to 2009 when he allegedly had sexual encounters with a minor. The victim was only 7-years of age and at the time, Harrison was 51-years old. Court documents show that Harrison knew his victim well.
