Sheriff Robert Arnold has been appointed to a Tennessee Senate committee to study criminal justice reform in the state.
The Senate Judiciary Committee’s ad hoc committee will examine potential areas for reform of the criminal code to sentencing and correctional issues. Members will hear testimony and share their expertise on proposed reforms.
“I am looking forward to serving on this committee to study possible judicial reform, especially the correctional issues,” Sheriff Arnold said.
Committee members are expected to meet in Middle, East and West Tennessee to gather input.
